八仙粉塵爆炸意外中重傷的劉致葦在今天清晨五點過世。
台北海洋技術學院時尚造型設計管理系一年級學生劉致葦，全身95%都有二至三級程度燒傷，痛楚程度超過十級，台中榮總表示，劉致葦凌晨03:30出現心室頻脈、意識狀態改變，經急救10分鐘及電擊後，恢復竇性心律，與家屬討論之後，家屬決定放棄急救；於05:41心跳停止。
八仙塵暴意外第一個不幸傷重死亡的是20歲的李珮筠，她12歲的弟弟同樣遭火吻，全身90％重度灼傷，性命垂危。
